I am Dhruba Adhikari, Chairman and Founder of Everest Chopper. It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to Nepal - the land of the Himalayas

My journey in the travel and tourism sector began in 1998 starting at the grassroots level as a porter. Those early days in the mountains shaped my resilience, discipline, and deep respect for nature.In 2000, I took a significant step forward and became a trekking guide, gaining firsthand experience in leading travelers through some of the most breathtaking yet challenging terrains in the world. By 2004, I partnered with a travel company, further expanding my knowledge and strengthening my foundation in Himalayan tourism. 

I was born into a humble farming family in the remote village of Phul Kharka in Mid-Western Nepal, nestled below the majestic Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges. Growing up in the presence of these mountains not only influenced my career path but also instilled in me strong values, a sense of responsibility, and a profound connection to the land.

Despite the challenges of balancing education and work, I remained determined to move forward. From a young age, I was involved in welcoming trekkers, and over time, this exposure grew into a deep passion for tourism. Since those early years, I have had the privilege of leading and organizing numerous trekking expeditions, tours, and pilgrimage journeys across Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan.

In 2008, I partnered with Himalayan Spirit Adventure, allowing me to take on a greater role in organizing and managing trekking and travel experiences. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of international travelers' expectations, as well as the cultural, traditional, and environmental richness of the Himalayan region. This experience has enabled me to design journeys that are not only well-organized but also deeply meaningful.

I also serve as an organizer of trekking, tours, pilgrimage journeys, helicopter tours, and private rescue operations across Nepal. In addition, I continue to organize travel experiences in Tibet and Bhutan, ensuring seamless and memorable journeys beyond borders. 

Everest Chopper represents a natural evolution of my vision to provide efficient, safe, and extraordinary ways to explore the Himalayas.

Our helicopter services offer breathtaking aerial perspectives of Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, and beyond, while also ensuring reliable rescue support in remote regions. Alongside this, we offer a wide range of travel experiences, including trekking, cultural tours, and jungle safaris, creating a complete and diverse journey for every traveler. Safety remains our highest priority. Every operation we conduct is guided by professionalism, responsibility, and care for our guests. At the same time, we are deeply committed to sustainable and responsible tourism. We strive to protect the Himalayan environment through eco-friendly practices, minimizing environmental impact while promoting awareness among both our team and our guests. Our approach ensures that tourism benefits not only travelers but also local communities and the natural world.

Coming from a background of hardship, I strongly believe in the power of creating opportunities. Supporting local communities and providing employment to those from similar backgrounds is something I hold close to my heart.

Above all, I have always loved what I do. Sharing Nepal’s beauty, culture, and spirit with travelers from around the world is not just my profession, but my passion.
